A tale of canons and war games

Leo's pov


When I saw the war games, I knew I was a dread man. It was me, Percy,Jason,annabeth,hazel,frank,piper and Reyna and the 3rd cabin vs the rest of the camp. I ditched the battle armour, and went into the team huddle. " Leo, you go up from behind and take their flag when we create a diversion. You got that?" Jason said to me, and all I could do was nod. We ran out to the field, and prepared ourselves for battle. All I saw was people fighting and I go up the side, but it's pretty hard to dodge canons. I hear someone yell, " misfire! Misfire!" And I glance at Reyna, seconds from getting a canon ball in the face, and my hero instincts took over. I ran at speeds I didn't know possible for one with my proportions, and tackle her just in time in a ball of hair, arms and weapons. I land on top of her, and hastily get off. I lend Reyna a hand up and smirk as I say " does that mean I get a date?" And she says, "how about you save the world, and then we'll see." Afterwards she gives me a badge, and sends me on my way. As I walk to my room, I think about how mushy it will be with three couples on board my ship.
